Hillia are a sapient species of dragon that are found along the northern borders of Keos Leesa and some in of Das’ more southern islands. They are a quadrupedal race of dragon with beak-like snouts and a variety of colourations and horn shapes.
They are one of the two species closest related to the zokex dragons, alongside the weatwor. Like their Sentient zokex cousins the hillia are able to ingest soulstone; however unlike the zokex, hillia dragons cannot live soley on the crystals and need a variety of plants and meat in their diets.
They are overall friendly dragons that often make their ways into Sentient territories and, as one of the few Draconic species besides the zokex who are able to learn and speak Sentient languages, they are often granted the same rights as travelling Mystics. However, there is often still a language barrier as, though they can learn the languages of Sentients, this skill is most often used to trade with neighbouring dassen settlements and it is more common for a hillia to speak the Dassen language than International.
