Science Theory
Science theory is the study of magic and science as one unified power. The study is believed to have been started by the first human on Demrefor to ever bare the green spot affliction; a man who is thought to have been the smartest Sentient to have ever lived. He is worshipped as a god by those in the Starku religion, though even those outside of the religion who don’t believe in the other Eight Star deity recognise him as a real man that did actually exist.
The most basic concept of science theory in magic is that knowledge of the world is necessary if one wishes to draw power from it. To borrow from the energy of the universe, it is important to understand how it is held together. Scholars agree with this, as there is a great amount of evidence that learning about matter, mass, and how each of the elements in the periodic table interact with each other significantly improves the ability of spell-casters.
It is widely accepted that science and magic go hand-in-hand, and a good quality education on one will include information about the other. It is also common that a lot of magical practices, such as alchemy and general healing, are considered magical sciences.
