Primolden
The primolden are a humongous quadrupedal sapient dragon species known to live in Keos Leesa (and, rumoured, more continents further south). They are known to grow up to 30 meters, measured shoulder to haunch, and are the largest known sapient dragons.
Primolden are extremely rare, with only a total of four known to have ever passed through the explored territories. Of those four, only one took the time to have any sort of interaction with Sentient races, though language barriers meant that communication was limited. It is documented, however, that these interactions were overall pleasant ones.
Because of their rarity, information about primolden dragons mostly comes from other sapient dragon races who visit the explored territories such as the weatwor and the hillia. Amongst these dragons, it is rumoured that primolden dragons were, once, the kings and queens of Keos Leesa and ruled over all the draconic races. Though now they live much simpler lives and walk as equals amongst the other draconics.
It is said these large dragons are long-lived and magical, with 1,000 year lifespans and the ability to absorb elemental powers from wherever they choose to make their home. A primolden living in a volcano, for example, is said to gain fire-breathing magic. While a primolden living along a shoreline will gain the abilities to pull and push the tide.
