Snowcorse
The snowcorse is a bipedal, three-eyed dragon breed. Though their domestic breed is from the continent Aurn’la Ann and bred to withstand below-freezing temperatures, their now-extinct wild ancestors, known as blue-streaked field-hoppers, were native to the Yali continent.
Covered in an insulating layer of feathers, these affectionate-but-skittish dragons stand about 2 feet tall measured head-to-toe and are primarily kept as pets and small-scale livestock similar to poultry. Once a week, whether or not a male is present, a female snowcorse will lay a singular egg; these eggs are high in protein and provide a lot of nutrients that may be difficult to come by in colder climates. This is especially useful as snowcorse are able to survive off a variety of plants and scrap-meats that would otherwise be inedible.
Males sport a decorative mane and tail-feathers that the females do not; though all snowcorse have a line of decorative feathers on the sides of their jaws used for display.
