Fortera
The fortera are one of the 6 native races found on Sunscare. They closely resemble ants in appearance, with two common body-types; workers and soldiers. The soldier fortera are almost twice the size of the worker fortera, with powerful jaws and strong exoskeletons.
They live with the hymarth and apohivea in the West Factions, building their culture’s infrastructures and joining the hymarth in battle against the East Factions.
Despite their large size and vicious jaws, soldier fortera are very gentle people who prefer to stay out of unneeded conflict wherever possible. Likewise, the workers are very sensitive and social.
No fortera does well alone and it is considered unethical, even by their enemies in the East Factions, to keep them in isolation.
